Wayne has added a second consecutive round of 76 at the Dunlop Phoenix and has unfortuantely missed the cut at the event in Miyazaki.
Despite an opening round of 76 Wayne was still in reasonable as he made the turn. An even par of even a one over finishing nine would have got him through to the weekend but a triple bogey at the par three 11th effectively put paid to his chances.
"I got the wind wrong and put it in the drink," said Wayne not long after his round. "This course and I just don't seem to get along."
Wayne will now play the Casio World Open next week before returning to Australia for the Australian PGA Championship at Hyatt Regency Coolum. "I'm looking forward to playing well next week in my last event of the season here before heading home."

Wayne is in Miyazaki on the south east coast of Kyushu in southern Japan for this week's Dunlop Phoenix tournament, an event which might yet bring his 2008 Japan Golf Tour season to a close.
If Wayne has a good week at this week's tournament he may consider missing the Casio World Open next week and head back to Melbourne for the Australian Masters.
Wayne has played this event twice previously missing the cut on both occasions but he arrives at this week's event with his game in good shape following his recent third place at the Lexus Championship and his reasonable finish last week at the Visa Taiheiyo event.
